College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

CRNE Info

Applicants for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba are required to have passed the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE). The purpose of the CRNE is to protect the public by ensuring that the entry-level registered nurse possesses the competencies required to practise safely and effectively.

Please note: the last CRNE exams will be available on June 4 and October 1. After these dates, the NCLEX-RN exam replaces the CRNE. You will not be required to write the NCLEX-RN exam if you pass the CRNE before the end of 2014. More information about this change is available here.
