Student/Graduate Applicants – Forms & Fees

Complete these forms if you are currently a student in an entry level nursing education program in Manitoba who is close to completing your program and wish to apply to write the CRNE.

• Application Package for the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) and Graduate Nurse Register

Complete these forms if you are currently a student in an entry level nursing education program in a Canadian province other than Manitoba or Quebec who is close to completing your program, are waiting to write the CRNE or are waiting for results from the CRNE and want to apply as a Graduate Nurse in Manitoba.



Complete these forms if you have received your nursing education in Quebec are waiting for results from the Professional Examination of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Quebec and want to apply as a Graduate Nurse in Manitoba. Please note: The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba now recognizes the Professional Examination of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Quebec as equivalent to the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) for the purpose of establishing initial registration as an RN in Manitoba. As a result, the CRNE will no longer be offered to graduates of Quebec nursing education programs.

* This processing fee is non-refundable and is required on all “initial” applications to the Graduate Nurse Register. Should you be applying for “renewal” on the Graduate Nurse Register this fee is not required.

These fees are due after passing the CRNE. An application form will be mailed to you with your exam results at which time you will need to complete and submit the form with the appropriate fees.
