Editorial coverage includes articles on healthcare; profiles of nurses in Manitoba and elsewhere who are prominent in the healthcare industry and/or their communities; updates on educational courses, seminars, meetings and forums dealing with the provision and administration of healthcare in Manitoba and elsewhere; articles by nurses involved in the development and/or implementation of new practice and/or administrative procedures; updates on Board decisions and CRNM activities; and contributions from readers expressing their concerns, opinions, and viewpoints. Readership Profile
CRNM enjoys a membership of approximately 12,000 registered nurses. Registered nurses represent one of the most highly educated and continually trained professional groups. Manitoba's registered nurses are 94% women with an average age of 47. Annual full-time salaries range from $62,508 to $97,622 (Source: MNU collective agreement). Registered nursing is demanding, diverse and rewarding. Registered nurses are dedicated, skilled professionals who fulfill many roles and meet many challenges as administrators, caregivers, counselors, patient care advocates, researchers and teachers.
