Winnipeg, MB - Mental Illness Awareness Week kicks off with the 2nd annual Community Walk “Working Together, Walking Together - Stamp Out Stigma." The walk aims to stamp out the various stigmas surrounding mental illness. The goal is for those with mental health issues to be able to live and work in communities that support meaningful lives. The walk will start at 11am from 4 Fort Street and end at the Legislature Building where the Minister of Health, the Honourable Theresa Oswald will proclaim Mental Illness awareness week.
