The PAC plan is designed to deduct quarterly payments from your bank account toward the following year's registration fee. Members applying to be on PAC for the first time must still submit their full payment for registration fees for the current renewal.
i.e. If you are applying to be on PAC during registration renewal in the fall of 2009, you must still submit the full amount of your 2010 registration renewal fees. Your PAC withdrawals will begin in February of 2010 and by November 2010, your 2011 registration renewal fees will be paid in full.
Do I need to apply to PAC every year? Members who are already on PAC do not need to apply every year.
What if I change my nursing status? Converting from Practicing to Non-Practicing: The conversion changes the quarterly amount deducted and requires your signature on a new application form indicating the status for which you are applying, therefore you must complete a new PAC application form and mail or fax it to us.
Converting from Non-Practicing to Practicing: Please note that you must apply for conversion from non-practicing to practicing membership. You must fill out the appropriate application forms and meet the requirements in accordance with the Registered Nurses Act and Regulations and CRNM Board policies. Once you have successfully converted your status, you may re-apply for PAC again.
How do I remove myself from the PAC program? You may withdraw from the PAC program at any time with written notice to CRNM. All monies paid will be reimbursed to you with the exception of any outstanding fees, such as the withdrawal fee or any NSF fees incurred.
How do I change my banking information? Please notify us, in writing, of any change in account information no later than 5 business days prior to the next withdrawal date. Failure to do so will result in an NSF service charge which is currently $52.50 (including GST).
Members not currently enrolled in PAC who wish to enroll for the 2011 registration year should fill out the PAC application form below on or before Jan. 15, 2010.
