RN(NP) Membership Class – already registered as an RN in Manitoba

Who can apply? 

This application package is for you if you already hold a certificate of practice in the RN membership class in Manitoba and are applying for a certificate of practice in the RN(NP) membership class.

RN(NP) Membership Class – Canadian Applicant

Who can apply? 

This application package is for you if you are not currently and have never been registered as an RN or NP in Manitoba and are looking to establish RN and NP registration in Manitoba. You must be an RN in Manitoba in order to be eligible for a certificate of practice in the registered nurse (nurse practitioner) membership class.

If you have been scheduled to write an approved extended practice exam or if you have already written the exam and are waiting for your results, you can apply for a certificate of practice in the RN(GNP) membership class.

Canadian Nurse Practitioner Licensure Exam (CNPLE)

Beginning in May 2026, the College will moving forward with the Canadian Nurse Practitioner Licensure Examination exam, which is computer-based and delivered by Meazure Learning.

Currently, fees can be paid via e-transfer, credit card, or certified cheque or money order sent via Canada Post.

Work will not begin on your application until payment has been received.

  1. Ensure your completed application form has been submitted to the College.
  2. Create and send the e-transfer to: etransfer@crnm.mb.ca
  3. If the bank account used to make the e-transfer is listed under a name different from the name on your application, please send a second email to etransfer@crnm.mb.ca associating the name on your application to the name of the bank account used for the e-transfer. E-transfers which are not followed up with the required identification information will be rejected.
