Please note that if you missed the December 1, 2024 deadline for renewal, you will need to apply for reinstatement. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to minimize potential work disruptions.

Instructions for Reinstatement (former registrants)
If you were previously registered as an RN in Manitoba and are seeking to reinstate, you can access the reinstatement application by logging in to your CRNM profile located on the College website. Once in your CRNM profile you will find the ‘Active RN’ application under the “Reinstate My Registration” section. The application form is completed online, you can also pay the non-refundable application processing fee online.
This section applies to you if you previously held a certificate of practice with the College and are now applying to reinstate your certificate of practice.
What happens after I submit my application?
- Applications are placed in a queue in the order in which they are received.
- You will receive an email from the College outlining requirements once your application and payment have been received. This may take between 5-10 business days.
- Once you have met all reinstatement requirements, your application is forwarded for review.
- Once the review is complete, we’ll send a confirmation email.
Retired Nurses
Retired nurses who are interested in returning to the public health care system may be eligible for financial supports to support licensure reinstatement. This includes reinstatement application and registration fees, licensing and professional liability fees, required background checks and immunizations, and clinical competence assessment/nurse re-entry program fees, if applicable.
Accepted Measures of Currency of Practice
Eligibility Requirements
- Actively retired (i.e. collecting pension benefits); AND
- Currently unemployed; AND
- Returning to practice with a public employer

- Ensure your completed application form has been submitted to the College.
- Create and send the e-transfer to: etransfer@crnm.mb.ca
- If the bank account used to make the e-transfer is listed under a name different from the name on your application, please send a second email to etransfer@crnm.mb.ca associating the name on your application to the name of the bank account used for the e-transfer. E-transfers which are not followed up with the required identification information will be rejected.
