RN(NP) Membership Class (effective September 2023)

Who can apply?

This application package is for you if you already hold a certificate of practice in the RN membership class in Manitoba and are applying for a certificate of practice in the RN(NP) membership class.

If you have been scheduled to write an approved extended practice exam or if you have already written the exam and are waiting for your results, you can apply for a certificate of practice in the RN(GNP) membership class.

Establish RN registration first

You must be an RN in Manitoba in order to be eligible for a certificate of practice in the registered nurse (nurse practitioner) membership class. If you are not currently an RN in Manitoba please see our instructions for RN registration.

Canadian Nurse Practitioner Exam (CNPE)

Beginning in October 2018, the exam will be computer-based and delivered by Yardstick Assessment Strategies through their network of highly secure test centres.

  1. Ensure your completed application form has been submitted to the College.
  2. Create and send the e-transfer to: etransfer@crnm.mb.ca
  3. If the bank account used to make the e-transfer is listed under a name different from the name on your application, please send a second email to etransfer@crnm.mb.ca associating the name on your application to the name of the bank account used for the e-transfer. E-transfers which are not followed up with the required identification information will be rejected.
