March 2024 Council Highlights

1. In the closed session, Council approved a refreshed vision statement and values for the College.
2. Council approved updates to the Practice Direction – RN(NP) Authorization of Medical Cannabis.
3. Council approved two education programs:
   1. University of Manitoba/University College of the North Baccalaureate Nursing Program
   2. Universite de Saint-Boniface Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
4. Council authorized the CEO/Registrar to approve education courses from other province to provide more options for applicants.
5. Council approved changes to policy CR-1 and CR-8. You can find the updated documents on our policy page.
6. Council heard updates on the College’s new strategic plan and strategic imperatives. Information about the new strategic plan can be found here.
