Nursing educators play an essential role in the registered nursing profession, providing the foundation for safe, competent, and ethical practice. The College works collaboratively with educators to ensure new graduates are prepared for entry to practice.
Shaping the future of registered nursing
As the regulatory body for the registered nursing profession in Manitoba, the College sets the standards for nursing education programs leading to registration in the:
- Graduate Nurse (GN) register,
- Graduate Nurse Practitioner (GNP) register, and
- Authorized Prescriber (AP) notation.
